About
Meshbox Play started as a group chat between friends who kept sending each other screenshots of games we'd found on our phones. At some point we realised nobody was writing about these things the way we actually talked about them — so we made a small site and kept going.,We're independent. No publisher pays us to say nice things, and we don't run a scoreboard where the loudest release wins. When we pick a game to review, it's usually because one of us got hooked on it during a commute or a boring wait somewhere, and wanted to explain why.,Every review here comes from real play time. We note how a game feels in one hand versus two, how greedy it is with battery, and whether the default settings make sense or need fixing straight away. If a game frustrated us, we say so.,The team is small on purpose. We'd rather cover fewer games properly than push out a rushed post about everything that trends. If you've found something worth our time, tell us — we read every message.
